To provide administrative support and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the mill office and related activities. Provide clerical support and act as liaison between employees and management and other mine site departments in areas of vacation coordination and scheduling of crew meetings. Act as the departmental contact person.
 
Your Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide administrative support.
  • Coordinate communication and maintain the organization of the office.
  • Ensure quality of all communications
  • Enter data and produce reports relating to production.
  • Enter data relating to staff and maintain records.
  • Produce end-of-month reporting statistics on safety, maintenance, and production.
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications
 
What we look for:
 
  • Highschool diploma (HAVO, VWO, MBO)
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • 2 – 4 years of office, clerical experience.
  • Intermediate software skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong writing and editing/proofreading skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Understanding of mining terminology and processes.

Junior Ground Control Engineer
  • Design and supervision of construction of geotechnical and hydrological structures such as foundations, slopes, excavations, diversion ditch, and dams;
  • Investigation of ground instabilities and recommending and designing mitigation measures
Procurement Officer

To purchase materials, goods, and services for all operations, maintenance, and support functions. 

Surveyor

To provide safe and cost-effective survey services, by way of design, plans, and measurement data that communicate critical mining instructions to operators and development results to engineers.
