- Prepare concise, detailed reports internally publish under direction of R&D.
- Operate Q.C. instrumentation and analyze data.
- Perform physical and mechanical testing such as viscosities, penetrations, softening points, tensile/Elongations etc. of asphalts and their derivatives.
- Become familiar with AASHTO testing.
- Become familiar with PMA.
- Follow direction and guidelines on projects
- Effectively communicates weekly project updates.
- Maintaining organized, accurate, and detailed records of all laboratory and field trial work
- Continual search and evaluation of better functioning and cost optimized raw materials.
- Work under the guidance of a Principle Scientist to develop, test and maintain processes for Chemical Emulsions.
- Work closely to scale up from lab to plant process.
- Ability to analyze and illustrate data in a meaningful manner.
- Interpret data in cooperation with colleagues who initiate test requests.
- Promotes the quality system through adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.
- Promotes health, safety and environmental regulations by ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to in compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Performs other duties as required for the success of Gardner-Gibson, Inc.

- B.S. in Science
- Asphault, PMA or Emulsion experience preferred
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, provide maintenance support for both mechanical and electrical equipment ensuring the plant operates at the highest level of uptime and efficiency.

The Shipping and Receiving Manager is responsible for coordinating all timely outbound shipment activities to meet customer requirements and all inbound receiving functions to support plant operations while ensuring a high level of inventory accuracy.
- Minimum four (4) years of progressive sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting established goals and objectives.
- Experience working in an industry based on relationship selling.
