- Performs all standard duties to include batch production, sampling and additions as required by product formula, and QC lab instructions.
- Performs all tasks up to standard in proper manner and technique to ensure optimum raw material usage, maintain product quality, and cost efficiency.
- Keeps complete and accurate records (batch tickets), performs preventative maintenance to assure equipment is maintained by cleaning and calibrating to ensure quality production and safe working conditions.
- Notifies Department Supervisor or Operations Manager of any discrepancies in production.
- Meets, or exceeds, production standards for quality and volume of production while maintaining low error rates to keep the cost of production to acceptable levels.
- Makes full use of skills, abilities, and paint making techniques to help respond to customer requirements.
- Performs additional duties as directed by plant management supervision.
- Actively participate in STOP program & attend start of shift meetings.
- Wear designated PPE (personal protective equipment) for assigned department area and tasks.

- Keep work area & equipment clean
- Prefer three years of experience in a factory production environment, i.e. mixing/blending operations, making products by following prescribed company formulas and procedures, etc.
- Experienced in operating material handling equipment, such as a walking pallet jack, and in performing daily pre-shift inspection of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Safety habits & awareness required as a condition of employment.
- Must possess ability to lift medium to heavy weights intermittently. Must be able to bend, stretch and reach in positions to move & mix raw materials of batches.
- English, oral, and written communication skills (required); Effectively record and communicate both internally and externally.
- Basic mathematical skills; Have understanding of decimals, fractions and the metric system.
- Ability to use measuring tools (scales, pumps, gauges).
- Moderate reasoning skills.; Have the ability to work through moderate operational issues as they arise
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, provide maintenance support for both mechanical and electrical equipment ensuring the plant operates at the highest level of uptime and efficiency.
