Role Summary
Chubb Edwards has an opportunity for a Project Leader who possess good working knowledge of project management philosophies. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. If not in possession, a willingness to achieve PMP certification is required.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Lead the installation of Access Control, Video, Intrusion, Intercom, nurse call, and asset tracking systems to the satisfaction of customers.
• Successfully work with trades people, and direct project site activities.
• Positive teamwork in conjunction with the Project Supervisor and existing technicians, subcontractors, and clients.
• Provide project status updates to Project Supervisor ideally on a daily basis.
• Use current technology to plan, schedule and execute projects.
• Self-motivated individual with a discipline of time management.
• Ability to work alone and make decisions to improve project completion.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Work, MS-Project.
• Work on-call in a service rotation as required.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Security Installation/Service Field.
Educational /Technical Requirements
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Security Installation/Service Field.
• Electronic training designation equivalent to CET.
• Knowledgeable in computer networking, with computer training designations/certifications preferred.
• PMP Certification in particular would be a welcome asset.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
