Job Description
The Instructional Designer role is responsible for the design and development of Instructor-led, virtual training, print and video content delivered to employees. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with a cross functional team of subject matter experts and learning and development team members to define the required learning objectives, evaluation, and rapidly develop course materials integrating the appropriate technology options.
What you’re responsible for:
- Designing and developing learning content to engage learners, to facilitate behavior change, and/or to transfer knowledge.
- Learning content may include eLearning courses, job aids, and presentations, to be delivered via the LMS, instructor-led, or virtual instructor-led, as appropriate
- Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs.
- Translate training needs into learning outcomes and objectives and create solutions to address them.
- Act as an expert in learning methodologies and emerging technologies. Leverage new authoring software or other technology to improve the effectiveness of training material.
- Support the deployment/delivery of training programs.
- Manage several priorities and projects to meet deadlines. Persevere and maintain high standards of quality.
- Maintain courseware and update and/or reformat new and existing training program material
- Arrange and manage the translation process for training documentation dealing directly with the translator.
- Review course ratings and effectiveness to drive improvements in training effectiveness.
- Test, upload and maintain files in the LMS system.
To be successful:
- Formal education in Adult Education and/or Instructional Design
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as education, organizational development, human resources, business administration, communications, etc. is an asset
- 3 or more years of experience required in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and design media production
- Expertise in using Adobe products such as: Captivate, Photoshop, and Illustrator, InDesign
- Strong working proficiency in course authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Articulate Storyline, etc. and at least one Learning Management System
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Bilingualism in both Official languages (French & English) would be an asset

Pricing & Revenue Analyst - Contract
• Consultation/recommendations for all pricing related requests (e.g. new opportunities, growth, retention, RFP responses, rate changes, impact analysis, competitive and market insight and analysis).
• Translating business opportunities and customer needs into collaborative pricing solutions.

Virtual Customer Service Professionals

AM Sorter
- Unloading and sorting freight
- Preload up to 5 trucks while pulling assigned freight off conveyor belt
- Scanning/Cubing/Reweighing
Transportation Engineering Specialist - 12 Month Contract
- Identify network opportunities, work with a cross functional group to determine appropriate solutions, model alternatives with simulation tools and ensure timely execution.
- Analyze data to support Network & Capacity Planning, perform predictive analytics, and find network opportunities for improvement.
National Alternate Transportation Network Engineer
- Project support, assist in equipment layout and design, standards development and auditing, process optimization and statistical analysis, used for development of trending and forecast information
- Developing, managing and implementing multiple projects providing realistic and accurate timeline, resource requirements and activity plans
Material Handling Equipment Technician
- Shift coverage of automated sorter system, timely response to system issues.
- Performing planned / unplanned maintenance duties on automate conveyor system, like Shoe Sorter.
- Familiar with RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), develop and conduct predictive maintenance program of electrical system/equipment
Health and Safety Field Coordindator
Reporting to the SR Consultant, Regional Health & Safety, and acting as a trusted advisor to business partners, this role will support the execution of Purolator’s health and safety program within an assigned geography.
