MINERALS PROCESSING OPERATOR

➔ The underground miner is part of a mining team that begins the process of extracting rock and mineral from the ground.

➔ The miner works underground using sophisticated machines and equipment to drill, blast and move rock containing the sought-after minerals and metals.

➔ The miner works as part of a close-knit team consisting of other miners, shifters, mine captains, mine superintendents, geologists and mining engineers to safely and efficiently move material from the mine face to the mineral processing plant (mill).
