Superintendent Supply Chain

- Prepare the implementation of the overall supply chain process for Cote Gold and support the implementation of the inventory management system on site.
- Support the Oracle implementation for the supply chain function
- Prepare the warehouse for the initial fill of material.
- Work closely with Global Supply Chain for the strategic initiatives.
- Manages the human, financial and operational resources of purchasing and logistics.
- Oversees the implementation of processes, policies, systems and practices within purchasing and logistics that maximize operational efficiencies and competitive advantage, following guidelines from Global Supply Chain.
- Responsible for all purchasing, inventory and warehouse staff on mine site and city location.
- Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all activities related to purchasing and logistics that contribute to a unified business platform that is scalable, transferable to other functional areas, and adds value for key stakeholders
- Prepares reports and completes documentation supporting negotiation and final purchasing decisions, including maintenance of inventory and tracking systems.
- Oversees the negotiation of standard terms and conditions with respect to capital and non-capital purchases.
- Oversees activities of the warehouse, including issues related to material logistics and expediting, storage and inventory control maintenance, and / or property utilization in accordance with mining operations, corporate and site policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Supervise logistics group and interface with major suppliers on regular basis.
- Manage contract negotiation and administration on site. Implement good contract management practices on site, in all departments.
- Approval of requisitions and purchase orders when submitted.
- Identifies strategies and key performance goals and acts as an advisor to the direct reports; works to overcome challenges and barriers and minimize risk.
- Sets performance targets and measures, monitors and manages overall performance of the function and direct reports.
- Ensures there is a comprehensive and effective succession management strategy in place for the function; identifies succession role requirements and high potential talent and actively develops key talent.
- University degree in administration/management or a related field of study
- Minimum of 15 years experience in inventory, warehousing, purchasing and contracts.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a superintendent/manager role.
- Experience in Oracle or similar ERP implementation is an asset.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent knowledge of purchasing, contract, inventory and warehouse management.
- Good negotiating skills and strong leadership.

- Design and supervision of construction of geotechnical and hydrological structures such as foundations, slopes, excavations, diversion ditch, and dams;
- Investigation of ground instabilities and recommending and designing mitigation measures
To purchase materials, goods, and services for all operations, maintenance, and support functions.
To provide safe and cost-effective survey services, by way of design, plans, and measurement data that communicate critical mining instructions to operators and development results to engineers.
To provide administrative support and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the mill office and related activities.
The purpose of the Mine Road Supervisor is to ensure all site service roads are maintained year round.
The purpose of the Supervisor Mine is to supervise the mine crew and ensure production targets and schedules are met as forecast.
The Senior Mining Engineer takes part in the development of economic studies of mining projects (approach, prefeasibility, feasibility).
To ensure optimization of the Mill process is maintained through effective management and technical support to the Operations group as well as external support groups including Mine Technical Services and Mine Operations.
As a member of the Global Supply Chain (GSC), the analyst will utilize your abilities to provide actionable recommendations to the leaders of the organization.
This position is responsible to manage all maintenance activities including; safety, execution, personnel, budget, planning and continuous improvement.
