Returning Technical Students will be required to work at a different mine site each summer with the exception of a language requirement where language is a qualification within our region

• Qualifications
 
Successful candidates will have:
• Enrolled or entering a post-secondary institution on a full time basis in a technical program Minimum of 18 years of age as of June, 1st 2016
• Prior experience in the mining industry or related experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Self-motivation and the desire to learn new skills
• Fluency in English; Spanish and French language skills an asset
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Co-Op Metallurgist

Reporting to the Chief Metallurgist, the Co-op Metallurgist will be responsible for ensuring optimum gold extraction processes at Goldcorp Red Lake Gold Mines.

Environmental Technologist

Daily and weekly visual inspections of operations, recording water levels, compliance samples (Monitoring dam integrities).
