- Coordination and involvement in all key transaction workstreams including due diligence, valuation analysis, structuring and legal documentation, and preparation of board recommendations for all key BD acquisition targets
- Tactical M&A and funding considerations
- Building and leveraging existing networks with the objective of generating new opportunities that will improve Evolution’s asset profile
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the company through M&A activity and strategy

- Demonstrated prior experience in the mining industry and ability to apply this to valuation analysis and commercial decision making
- The application of M&A legal framework to both public and private treaty transactions
- Ability to clearly articulate and influence when delivering recommendations to senior management and board
- Strong financial modelling skillset (highly competent in bottom up development of financial models for mining assets)
- Project management of technical, legal and other key transactional workstreams
- Oversight of BD Analyst/s
- At least 5-7 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, private equity or in-house M&A/corporate development – specifically covering the mining sector.
- Ability to think outside of the box to deliver creative solutions.
- Self-driven, team player, capable of working independently & remotely.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance and / or Mining.
- Mining technical skillset/ background highly regarded.
- Direct experience in gold mining industry highly regarded.
