Position Summary
 
The Market Survey Researcher conducts investigative market research via telephone in a HIGH VOLUME OUTBOUND CALLING office environment. You will gather and verify information, and complete data quality control activities. This is a great base pay plus incentives opportunity. Individuals who have had any experience in sales, collections, investigations, or the industrial sectors (and are interested in an office job), are encouraged to apply.
 
Essential Functions
 
-  Conduct surveys and collect data with emphasis on validating existing company data, using methods such as phone interviews, 
   questionnaires, market analysis surveys, internet search techniques and review of industry publications. 
-  Review, classify, and record survey data in preparation for computer analysis and client usage. 
-  Perform data entry into database and other clerical work as required for task completion. 
-  Verify the accuracy and validity of data; correct any errors. 
-  Collaborate with other researchers in the work division, implementation, and completion of survey research. 
-  May compose short reports or news briefs summarizing completed research.

Skills & Abilities 
 
-  Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
-  Experience: One to two years of related experience is preferred. 
-  Computer Skills: One or more years experience with technology including computer systems is required. The ability to quickly learn
   new software is required. Prior work experience in database entry work is preferred.
-  Other Requirements: This is a high volume calling environment. One or more years of experience using the phone as a business tool
   is preferred. Outbound calling experience is highly desirable.   
-  Other Physical Requirements: Vision (Near) & Sense of Sound (Conduct Phone Interviews)
-  Work Environment: General office environment with favorable lighting and temperature; no hazardous or unpleasant conditions.
