- Delegates work to technicians by pre-established priority and by strengths of each technician. Conducts regular shop checks to inspect work-in-progress and work completed. Ensures all inspections are complete
- Supervises staff following Maxim’s Leadership principles
- Reviews completed work orders with technicians to ensure legible and complete stories
- Performs service counter duties to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while producing the budgeted gross profits for the department
- Coordinates shift change with evening staff
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in the heavy-duty truck & trailer industry, specifically in the parts or service area
- Knowledge or experience of how to run a profitable service shop
- Journeyman designation or equivalent experience
- Strong ability to supervise staff and delegate work to technicians
- Ability to conduct regular shop checks and inspections
- A keen eye for detail to review completed work orders with Technicians
- Ability to perform Service Coordinator duties as required
- A ‘Tool and Boot’ Allowance of 100% reimbursement to a maximum of $400 per calendar year.

We are seeking a an energetic, sales-minded individual to fill a Parts Sales Professionals (Outside Sales) position to sell heavy-duty truck & trailer parts to new and existing customers in Brandon and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will lead a team who ensures customer satisfaction while building long-term relationships with parts suppliers.
In this role, you will sell parts to customers by providing technical expertise and customer service, and ensuring profitable sale of parts and develops long-term customer relationships.
- Performs accounts payable and receivable functions, including: matching slips to invoices, providing G/L codes, checking pricing, and posting in the business system.
- Conducts daily bank deposits, and administers petty cash.
The successful candidate will work independently to complete the diagnostics, service and repair of heavy trucks and trailers.
