Implementation Accountant

Primary Responsibilities Include:
 
Reporting directly to the Controller and indirectly to the corporate Finance Manager, the Implementation Accountant will support the implementation of a new ERP solution along with a new budgeting solution. The position will work closely with other subject matter experts on site to ensure the successful implementation of these finance solutions.
 
Description:
 
• Gain thorough knowledge of existing and proposed solutions and business processes in the finance department around key processes:
o General ledger structure and chart of accounts.
o Accounts receivable.
o Accounts payable.
o Banking.
o Project costing.
o Fixed assets.
o Period closing.
o Financial reporting.
o Management reporting.
o Budgeting and forecasting.
• Clean up, migrate, rationalize, and create new master data.
• Ensure data integrity and best practices in data transformation.
• Ensure site compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting guidelines.
• Support Internal Audit and External Audit recommendations as required.
• Create and disseminate training materials to subject matter experts.
• Support other implementation requirements as directed.
 
Qualifications and Skills Requirement:
 
• Post-secondary degree in accounting.
• Professional accounting designation CPA CA, CGA, CMA preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and excellent problem identification and solving skills.
• 5-7 years of experience in the mining industry preferred.
• Exceptional computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in Sage AccPac or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.

Security Guard

Sample Preparation Technician x 2

Primary responsibility of a Sample Preparation Technician is to perform sample preparation of underground drill core, chips and muck samples as well as other duties given by the Shift Crew Leader during the course of a shift.

Refiner/Metallurgical Technician

Reporting to the Chief Metallurgist, the Refiner/Metallurgical Technician will ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the refinery to meet or exceed safety, production and cost targets, while ensuring environmental compliance.

Mill Supervisor
• Provide technical support and direction for the Mill team.
• Implementation of standards.
• Plant testing programs and operational parameters.
Multiple Mill Operator Positions

As an integral part of the McEwen Mining Mill Operations team, the Mill Operators will efficiently perform all required duties while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.

Senior Project Engineer

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the Senior Project is responsible to assist in leading the Engineering department in the design and scheduling of the underground mine development.
