Millwright - Foreman

• Assist the Construction team in project execution
• Responsive to the General Foreman, and through the chain of command to the (Superintendent and or Construction Manager / Project Manager)
• Liaise between the General Foreman, the Project Management team and the trades crew
• Work closely with General Foreman and Project Controls to ensure successful completion of deliverables
• Read and interrupt blueprints to meet construction requirements
• Daily progress reports
• Ensure that the trade crew meets daily deliverables as per the construction schedule
• Ensure that the trade crew signs in and out daily; Approve timecards
• Ensure that the trade crew attends the daily tool box meetings and regular safety meetings
• Complete the daily timesheets for the crew using the sign in sheets and budget cost codes; ensure cost codes are correct
• Monitor site safety to ensure all personnel are complying with established safety standards at all times
• Monitor performance and progress of workers
• Prepare and document performance reviews; discuss reviews with General Foremen and Human Resources
• Ensure fair and consistent application of all labour relations policies and procedures and proper apprentice training
• Effectively communicate all issues and concerns to the relevant stakeholder groups
• Act as a role model at all times through exemplary professional conduct
• Perform other duties as required
• Adheres to Phoenix Industrial and Client policies and procedures
• Managing and performing general house keeping and daily clean-up of work area
• Lead by example by demonstrating the importance of fostering a safety culture

• 5+ years of experience as a Foreman
• Experienced Journeyman Millwright
• Proven ability promoting outstanding customer service and client relations
• Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution
• Strong decision making, critical think and problem-solving skills.
