Mobile Maintenance Lubrication Technicians

Schedule: 7 on, 7 off, alternating days and nights
 
Position Reports To: Mobile Maintenance Supervisors
 
Position Overview: The Mobile Maintenance Lube Technicians will provide support to the Mobile Maintenance department by troubleshooting and performing light repairs, along with ensuring lubrication upkeep of underground equipment.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lubrication upkeep of underground mobile mining equipment
  • Light repairs, troubleshooting, adjustment and maintenance of underground mobile mining equipment
  • Working in an underground mining environment
  • Operation of lubricant transport vehicles
  • Organization of lubricants and lube routes
  • Communicate effectively with Maintenance and Operations personnel
  • Monitor equipment condition and report thoroughly to Supervisor 
 
Qualifications
 
  • Trades ticket in a mechanical related program (i.e. Automotive Mechanic, Truck & Transport Mechanic, Marine Technician, etc.)
  • Strong interest and experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Industrial experience, preferably in mining
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate a strong drive to learn new skills
  • Possess a willingness to take on progressively more responsibilities as they grow and develop with the company
  • Experience with underground mining equipment is considered an asset
 
 
Other Requirements
 
Candidates will be required to participate in a comprehensive qualification process, including:
 
  • Successful completion of pre-placement functional screen
  • Provide proof of a valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Demonstrate eligibility to work in Canada
  • Provide confirmation of valid educational requirements
 
Compensation
 
A competitive salary, performance bonus plan and benefits will be provided.  This is not a camp operation and therefore the successful candidate will be required to relocate to the Kamloops area or travel and accommodation will be the responsibility of the successful applicant.

Mine Superintendent - 14/14 Rotation - Camp & Travel

The role of Mine operations Superintendent is to oversee the safe and efficient extraction of ore through the supervision and control of mining department activities such as budgeting, planning staffing and cost control.  

Senior Underground Mine Engineer - Relocation Required

The Senior Mine Engineer will provide clarity and focus for the engineering group to achieve and surpass the mine’s safety and production targets and to add value to the operation. 

Construction & Engineering Superintendent

The Engineering & Construction Superintendent is expected to be a safety leader on site and thus will be required to demonstrate experience in executing work with a safety focus and an emphasis on human performance.
