Norseman Structures has been in the protection and shelter business for almost 100 years, starting with the fabrication of outfitter and exploration tents in the 1920s. Today we deliver a wide variety of ShelterSolutions to customers in virtually every industry, in a variety of climates, anywhere in the world.
 
We are looking to add a Senior Superintendent to our team in Saskatoon, SK. Reporting to the Vice President, Construction, you will be responsible for ensuring our pre-engineered buildings are installed safely, on time, within budget and while also adhering to the quality standards that Norseman Structures is known for in our industry.
 
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the construction phase of projects from planning to completion, including developing construction execution plans, contracts administration, quality control, cost control, while also managing materials, labour and tools and equipment. Safety is our number one priority and as such, the Senior Superintendent will work closely with our HSEQ Manager to ensure that health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures are enforced, acknowledged and upheld by field personnel.
 
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to lead Site Superintendents as well as build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Sales, HSEQ and Engineering & Detailing throughout all phases of the project, from initial concept through to execution. Externally, the Senior Superintendent will work closely with subcontractors and vendors to ensure the construction process is completed according to plan.
 
Relevant post-secondary education coupled with 10 or more years of construction experience, with three or more years in a leadership capacity, is required to be successful in this role. Pre-engineered building construction experience would be considered an asset. Strong planning and organizational skills are required to ensure construction is executed according to plan.  Travel may be required to client sites to oversee or assist in the ShelterSolution construction process.

Senior Superintendent

This position provides support to the Project Management and Construction teams in all stages of the project from point of sale to completed installation or delivery to the customer.

Packager

We are looking to add a Packager to our team in Saskatoon, SK for an initial term of 4 months, with the possibility of an extension. 

Junior Structural Draftsperson

Reporting to the Drafting Supervisor, this position will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings for both the steel and fabric components of our ShelterSolutions.

Forklift Operator

We are looking to add a Forklift Operator to our team in Saskatoon, SK for an initial term of 4 months, with the possibility of an extension. 

Fabric Production Operator

We are looking to add a Fabric Production Operator to our team in Saskatoon, SK for an initial term of 4 months, with the possibility of an extension.

Construction Installer
