Provides partnering support to enable excellence in Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) culture and performance through effective major hazards and critical control management, systems, standards and governance.
 
Accountabilites
 
Aligns all behaviours with Orica’s Charter Values, Purpose and Strategy. 
Supports the execution of SHES activities in line with the company’s standards:
•    Supports delivery of SHES activities across region and/or site(s), such as Major Hazards Management (MHM) and Tier-2 Assurance.
•    Implementation of SHES procedures and other safe work methods (JSERA, Permit To Work) across site(s).
•    Develop safety materials for site(s) including toolbox talks.
•    Participate or lead in incident investigations.
•    Support users with Enablon.
•    Provision of day-to-day support to area or sub-region.
•    Demonstrate a proactive approach towards the implementation of Orica’s SHES Plan including providing advice and support.
•    Provide technical support to Countries / Sites on SHES matters.
•    Support the implementation of Orica SHES standards and systems requirements.
•    Support rollout of SHES related training at a country/site level.
•    Support business leaders on customer SHES requirements and issues.

•    Mining site (Bulk, ANE, magazine)

•    Activities include manual dexterity, sitting, standing, walking and occasional reaching and bending. 
•    Up to 50% Travel required
•    Dimension: No direct reports
•    English-speaking work environment
 
Experience and Requirements 
 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health & Environment, Engineering, Science or related discipline. 
•    10 or more years of Safety, Health, Environmental and Security experience.
•    5 or more years of relevant experience in the mining industry is a plus.
•    Sound knowledge of major hazards and key controls management, incident reporting and investigation.

This role is critical for Webgen integration at customer sites and the provision of ongoing services. 

Integrity Engineer (Carseland, AB)

The Engineer – Integrity is responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving work strategies for all pressure equipment within the Manufacturing Centre to enable the product line to achieve their objectives in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost and complying with the local and corporate regulations.

Operator - Plant (Victoria Gold)

The Operator Packaged and Bulk ANE, ANFO undertakes the processes/system associated with Packaged and Bulk ANE, ANFO production to the extent of their skill and competence and operates the manufacturing facilities safely, efficiently and effectively to address production and distribution requirements and provide a quality service in the manufacture of Packaged and Bulk ANE, ANFO to our customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.

Driver - Explosives (Greely ON)

To ensure production occurs on a timely basis following all safety procedures and taking a pro-active teamwork approach focused on coordinating assigned machine operation and product handling functions.

Technician - Field Support (Sudbury ON)

The Technician - Field Support provides maintenance and reliability support and management role for plant and equipment regionally.

Temporary Safety Advisor (Sudbury, ON)

Production Operator (Tappen, BC)

The production operator position is physically demanding. Employees are required to work on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. Physical activities includestanding, walking, bending, kneeling and repetitive motion. Some aspects of theposition require employees to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

Temporary MMU Operator (Whitehorse, Yukon)

To operate equipment and support plant operations to provide blasting products and services to customers. To provide a quality service in the manufacture of bulk explosives to our customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.

Operator - MMU (Victoria Gold, NT)
