The Engineer – Integrity is responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving work strategies for all pressure equipment within the Manufacturing Centre to enable the product line to achieve their objectives in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost and complying with the local and corporate regulations.
 
To deliver these responsibilities the Engineer – Integrity shall work collaboratively across all Mfg. Centre departments and across the areas of work strategies management, defect elimination, Master Data Management, Condition monitoring and Performance management (KPIs).
 
Accountabilities 
 
More specifically the Engineer – Integrity will deliver the following for the pressure equipment:
 
  • Ensure that safety, health, and environmental procedures are adhered to within his/her work environment.
  • Ensure Integrity centred and cost-effective work strategies are in place, compliant with integrity assurance requirements, integrated into the Work Management System and compliant with full PDCA cycle for all pressure equipment  according to the equipment criticality. This includes preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance.
  • Ensure all assets have required master data in SAP that is compliant to Orica Master Data Standard to support with the active work strategies.
  • Deliver the Defect Elimination Program to prioritise plant and process defects, develop root cause analysis and implement solution to eliminate root causes. Also roll out and coach the process across the entire Mfg. Centre.
  • Complete asset performance trending and analysis using Integrity tools (e.g. Weibull) to define repair and replacement policies and identify Integrity improvements.
  • Analyse Product Line SQDC KPIs from Integrity perspective and drive the identification and implementation of improvement opportunity with the Integrity, Maintenance Planning and Maintenance Execution functions.
  • Complete Integrity engineering modelling, analysis and action plans for the plant and critical assets using Weibull, FMECA, RBM and other techniques to define and improve equipment and spares strategy.
  • Define, implement and continuously improve the Condition monitoring program for all assets with appropriate KPIs to assess its compliance, effectiveness and value.
  • Complete subject matter expert reviews of management of change proposals (permanent or temporary) within area of responsibility and skillset relating to Integrity.
  • Deliver day-to-day technical support to Product Line and other departments to ensure Product Line continuity as required.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and Integrity with operators, maintainers and engineering peers through coaching and field support.
 
Experience and Requirements 
 
•    Proven knowledge of the different mechanisms of corrosion.
•    Capable of defining the preventative measures to avoid failures in pressure equipment.
•    Experience in defining the NDT to be used for inspection of pressure equipment. Capable of reviewing the results and propose mitigation actions.
•    Competent in preparing the scope of work for pressure equipment repairs, including defining the type of materials to be used and validation of welding procedures.
•    At least 5 years’ experience in petro-chemical or chemical manufacturing industry with considerable change management and safety component
•    Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
•    Must be an active member of APEGA and be a Professional Engineer

The Operator Packaged and Bulk ANE, ANFO undertakes the processes/system associated with Packaged and Bulk ANE, ANFO production to the extent of their skill and competence and operates the manufacturing facilities safely, efficiently and effectively to address production and distribution requirements and provide a quality service in the manufacture of Packaged and Bulk ANE, ANFO to our customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.

Driver - Explosives (Greely ON)

To ensure production occurs on a timely basis following all safety procedures and taking a pro-active teamwork approach focused on coordinating assigned machine operation and product handling functions.

Technician - Field Support (Sudbury ON)

The Technician - Field Support provides maintenance and reliability support and management role for plant and equipment regionally.

Temporary Safety Advisor (Sudbury, ON)

Provides partnering support to enable excellence in Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) culture and performance through effective major hazards and critical control management, systems, standards and governance.

Production Operator (Tappen, BC)

The production operator position is physically demanding. Employees are required to work on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. Physical activities includestanding, walking, bending, kneeling and repetitive motion. Some aspects of theposition require employees to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

Temporary MMU Operator (Whitehorse, Yukon)

To operate equipment and support plant operations to provide blasting products and services to customers. To provide a quality service in the manufacture of bulk explosives to our customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.

This is a general labour / driver position ensuring production occurs on a timely basis, following all safety procedures and taking a pro-active teamwork approach focused on coordinating assigned machine operation and product handling functions.
