The Sling-Choker Mfg. Group has an immediate opening for an Outside Technical Sales Representative. This position is based in Thompson, MB. The successful applicant will have experience working in an industrial sales capacity and a proven track record of successfully engaging with new and existing clients in a professional manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Prospecting and developing new business, maintaining existing accounts, and managing customer relationships
- Contacting customers regularly and traveling throughout the sales territory to make site visits
- Identifying new sales prospects and solution selling to existing customers based on their needs
- Preparing presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
- Operating computer software to access, input, and modify information
Applicant Requirements
- Experience in industrial sales an asset
- Valid Driver's License
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be self-driven and self-motivated
- Strong time management & organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
