PROCESS PLANT RELIABILITY ENGINEER

- Oversee condition monitoring activities related to process plant equipment;
- Champion and implement world class reliability programs that will maximize production and profit by minimizing downtime;
- Conduct regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment;
- Analyze and collaborate with maintenance personnel on strategies and procedures and make recommendations to improve safety, efficiencies and effectiveness;
- Act as a technical resource to assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting equipment issues and systemic problems;
- Operate in compliance with all applicable legal and engineering standards and specifications;
- Assist with the completion of risk assessments for maintenance activities and support the development of safe work procedures.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or Technologist with exceptional experience in a similar leadership role;
- Professional designation is preferred;
- Experience with equipment reliability programs is an asset;
- Exposure to project management techniques;
- Familiarity with mineral processing, specifically with crushers, SAG and ball mills circuits, bearings, pumps, etc are an asset;
- Strong analytical and communication skills;
- Proven commitment to safety, heath and environmental best practices;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, time management and communication skills;
- Strong business acumen and intermediate to advanced level knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, PI Vision/Historian and SAP.
