About a quarter of the world’s drinking water leaks out of aging underground pipes before reaching anyone’s tap. Our innovative technology and services allow water utilities to manage their pipelines based on reliable information about their condition simply by placing sensors on valves and fire hydrants. We have found tremendous demand for our technology and are now looking for a Project Administrator to help coordinate and ensure a smooth implementation of projects and related operations for Echologics’ Operations teams. This will include overseeing various processes through the lifecycle of individual assigned projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management skills and be meticulous in relation to project details.
Required Education & Experience:
• University Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in Project Management is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve technical issues and work independently.
• Familiarity with water distribution and transmission systems.
• Prior experience with client-centric roles such as customer service is an asset.
• Job or extensive volunteer experience in an administrative or project management role.
• Experience in other utility industries is an asset.
• Some experience in leak detection of water systems is an asset, including acoustic leak detection technology, GPR, RF pipe location or other utilities experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Competencies:
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office suite.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead employees and support a team environment.
• Able to handle multiple projects at once.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel in a fast paced environment
• Substantial knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices required.
• Project Management knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities
Project Sales Support
• Ensures proper creation of proposals for Echoshore projects, leak detection, and condition assessments.
• Manages and update Salesforce for all assigned projects.
• Provides customer service and ensures client management by addressing client requests and sending out client surveys to measure client satisfaction.
• Coordinates with proposal writers and Sales staff on a regular basis.
• Provides weekly progress reports for all open Echologics projects to immediate stakeholders. This includes identifying and reporting on the scope, timeline and approval status of projects.
Administrative Project Support
• Administrative duties such as time tracking and contract coordination..
• Project logistics planning and coordination including project activation and closure and monitoring the lifecycle of a project through various stages: gaining technical, pricing, discount, risk, legal and other reviews and approvals.
• Manage and update Kronos for all Field staff
• Issue invoices monthly for all active projects
• Create CER’s and PO’s for field purchases as required
• Ensures all project related systems such as Concur and the KPI tracking files are up to date
• Prepare monthly KPI tracking file and presentation
• Track Echologics fleet inventory and ensure all certifications are up to date
Support Operations Teams
Coordinate projects for the Operations team including all geographic areas as assigned.
Apply expert planning and organizing skills to allocate resources to high priority projects.
Project budget tracking and monitoring requires meticulous organization skills and attention to detail.
Coordinate with Regional Operations Managers and Project Lead Managers.
Manage other project related costs including living expenses, accommodations and transportation etc.
Assist operations teams with forecasting revenue targets.
Engage in various planning activities to increase efficiency in meeting project targets including negotiating subcontractor agreements.
Other duties as assigned by management.

• 0-5% travel is required
Physical Requirements:
The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, Walking, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Reaching, Talking, Seeing, Hearing, and Sitting. The majority of the actions will be sitting.
