General Description
We are looking for a highly organized Project Manager to create production schedules and oversee production & project processes. To be successful as a Project Manager you must be able to multitask and oversee several operations at a time.
Responsibilities
- Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope
- Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project
- Create a production schedule for the job
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Schedule regular maintenance for equipment
- Implement cost control programs
- Ordering and purchasing the required material and equipment
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety regulations are met
- Set and monitor quality standards of products
- Ensure workplace is safe and clean through task delegation and educating personnel
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Work experience requirements
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Problem solving abilities and conflict management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management or Business Administration
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification an asset
