Software Tester/DevOps Engineer

• Plan, define, execute, report, and refine quality test plans and test cases per the organizational quality objectives
• Understand the domain product vision and roadmap
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Develop and manage QA automation roadmap to enable continuous improvement
• Write, execute and maintain a combination of manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality releases
• Increase the automation of tasks and expand test coverage through both new and existing infrastructure
• Be able to work across multiple platforms (Web, Android, iOS, Linux) is required
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• At least 1 year of professional work experience in continuous integration and testing
• Experience with one or more CI platforms like Jenkins, TravisCI, or CircleCI
• Critical thinking skills and knowledge of quality assurance best practices
• Knowledge of programming and scripting skills
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages — Python, Swift, C, or C++
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals and a pragmatic approach for building software
• Passion for writing high-quality, reliable code; unit and integration tests; and clear and concise documentation
• Experience with one or more testing frameworks like XCTest/XCUITest, Cypress, Espresso, Selenium, JUnit, PyTest, Unittest, NoseTest
• Desire to automate everything and reduce the time required to manually test products
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to generate and communicate meaningful development metrics
• Experience with Agile Development and testing methodologies and best practices
• Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel
• Secure and skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required

• Familiar with iOS processes such as memory management, debugging, profiling, unit testing, continuous integration, provisioning, and distributing on the App Store
• Understanding of infrastructure provisioning, cloud services, cloud security, and cost management in public cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing cloud-based applications that include large scale compute services, database services, APIs to design RESTful services, ETL, queues, and notification services
