Rental Advisor and Yardman

• Meets and advises customers about equipment rentals.
• Writes up and closes rental contracts in computerize system.
• Ensures that rental terms and conditions are respected.
• Explains equipment operation to customers.
• Opens work orders upon equipment return.
• Prepares pick-up ticket.
• Follows-up on ongoing contracts.
• Closes and balances cash register.
• Inspects equipment before and after renting.
• Prepares and brings rental equipment from the yard to the customer's truck or delivery truck.
• Washes and greases equipment.
• Stores equipment in appropriate zone or transfers to the shop, if repairs are needed.
• Fills propane tank.
• Checks propane and fuel inventory.
• Makes sure that customers fasten equipment securely in their vehicles.
• Keeps work environment clean and safes.
• Checks that all required identification is on rental equipment.

• High School diploma and/or Diploma of Vocational Studies in Sales (an asset) combined with a minimum of 5 years experience in customer service
• Knowledge of MS Office and computer software
• Knowledge of industrial and construction equipment
• Experience in tools rental, an asset
• Experience in driving lift trucks, an asset
• Customer service oriented

• Organizational skills
