Position Summary
 
We are looking for a Temporary - Full time Salesforce System Administrator to join our Business Systems team at Cansel’s Head Office in Burnaby.
 
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing the day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of our CRM platform. As a self-starter you will work within Salesforce on maintaining system health, supporting users, and delivering improvements.
 
In this role, you will...
 
• Serve as the lead system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 350 users
• Handle all administrative functions including role, profiles, permission sets, configuration, reporting, and dashboards
• Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
• Perform the evaluation, planning and completion of new system requests
• Support sales operations and account data governance team
• Work with Business Analysts to review requirements and suggest solutions
• Support end users performing UAT for new functionality
• Effectively communicate development requests to external Salesforce Consultants
• Test and deploy new salesforce functionality delivered by external Salesforce Consultants
• Follow release management process for any production changes
• Work in collaboration with our business, systems and functional analysts to implement and sustain the integration between our CRM and ERP
 
About you...
 
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, and custom views
• Ability to identify and explain Salesforce.com data, objects and functionality
• Practical understanding of CRM best practices and functionality
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate business requirements
• You are willing to work in a collaborative environment, where you support your team to solve problems and continuously grow as an individual and as a team
 
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
 
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
• Salesforce Administrator Certifications: ADM201 and ADM211
• Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
• Experience in implementing / maintaining core solutions for several companies with differing end to end sales cycle
• Experience with Lightning, ideally with experience migrating from Classic to Lightning
• Experience with Service Max desired

• Experience using Zendesk and Jira
 
Bonus points
 
• Knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP Hybris or Dell Boomi is an asset
• Candidate will have experience with REST and SOAP API (highly desirable)
• Hands on experience in on Apex classes, Asynchronous Apex, controllers, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Web Services (SOAP and REST), Apex Callouts, Unit test classes, Salesforce Security model and lightning components
