Your Opportunity
 
Stantec’s Environmental Services team is seeking a part-time Senior Aquatic Ecotoxicology Specialist with expertise in cross-discipline planning, environmental assessment, monitoring, and site closure.
 
Your Key Responsibilities
 
  • Technical Consulting
  • Review of site-specific criteria development
  • Advise clients and regulators on toxicological protocols and testing methods
  • Review of toxicological testing results
  • Understanding of Canadian regulations and fisheries
  • Experience in leading research teams related to fisheries in government and consulting
 
Your Capabilities and Credentials
 
  • Recognized nationally with expertise in aquatic toxicology
  • Experience designing and conducting aquatic fate and effects studies
  • Deep understanding of Canadian and provincial water and sediment quality guidelines, legislation, and regulations
  • Consulting experience providing technical support to projects involving regulatory applications
  • Experience with aquatic environment effects monitoring study designs, data interpretation, and reporting
  • Established reputation as an industry leader through publication of technical papers and presentations at conferences
 
Education and Experience
 
  • Ph.D. level degree in zoology is required.
  • Minimum of 25 years of experience in determining exposure, evaluating potential impacts, and developing mitigation strategies related to chemical and non-chemical aquatic stressors.
  • Experience working with industry, government, and community stakeholders.

Senior Aquatic Ecotoxicology Specialist

Stantec’s Environmental Services team is seeking a part-time Senior Aquatic Ecotoxicology Specialist with expertise in cross-discipline planning, environmental assessment, monitoring, and site closure.

Oracle Functional Analyst (Payroll / HRMS / OTL)

Work closely with end-users and technical analysts to resolve Tier 1 and 2 incidents/problems, perform regular and on-demand service delivery activities, and monitor/resolve processing exceptions by using knowledge of the front-end system procedures and data dependencies.

Senior Project Manager

Plan, organize, lead and control the integration of all work packages / areas and disciplines within the project efficiently and effectively.
