SENIOR EXPERT – GEOSTATISTICS AND MINERAL RESOURCES

• Integrate and analyze quality assurance and quality control results (QA/QC), implement and validate geological databases;
• Complete 3D geological modeling; statistical studies and analyses; Mineral Resource estimates; block models (Gems, Vulcan, Datamine, Surpac and others); internal and external Resource and Reserve audits; bulk sample programs; all other types of mandates for exploration projects, advanced projects or operational mines;
• Redaction and/or supervision of Technical Reports compliant to NI43-101;
• Ensure good interpretation of ore deposit and implementation of the mining methods by working with the engineering team to produce economical studies, respecting the nature and geometry of the deposit;
• Act as consultant, bring better practice recommendations in order to enhance or resolve issues;
• Supervise professional team as project manager and carry out all other related tasks to bring project to completion.

• Bilingualism (English and French) is required, Spanish is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or in geological engineering and member in good standing with the Ordre des géologues or ingénieurs du Québec;
• Possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the geological field;
• Have proficiencies in various geological and mining operation areas of expertise;
• Advanced computer knowledge and skills;
• Exhibit good behavioural and relational skills;
• Show capacity to manage projects efficiently and establish priorities;
• Display good leadership, self-sufficiency and work structure;
• Distinguished oral or written communication skills;
• Demonstrate proved capacity to establish and maintain client relations;
• Supervise and coordinate workload with proficiency, aiming for cooperation and added value as a goal;
• Show willingness and ability for team work;

• Office work and hours, ideally based in one of our offices (Val-d’Or, Longueuil or Québec City). Site visits may be required for projects located in Canada and abroad.
