- Previous experience operating a Jackleg and Stoper is required
- Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to conduct pre-access drug testing as a condition of employment
- $25/hour + $60/hr bonus
- Bonus is dependent upon production
- Travel expenses are covered up to $350.00 per rotation
The role of the underground mechanic is to provide preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and air operated equipment.
The Alimak Raise Leader is required to conduct underground raise excavations, construct mechanized raise set ups, scale loose rock, drill, load and blast rock.
