- Conduct the procurement of goods (inventory) and services (contractors) required for the proper functioning of the warehouse. requirements for quality and security, aiming for the best total cost while meeting deadlines.
- Communicate with suppliers and monitor controls to give the best possible service to internal customers.
- Support the production departments and service in their problem-solving.
- Negotiate purchases of goods and services according to client needs.
- Responsible for managing supplier catalogs and information from suppliers. Research alternate vendor sources and services and monitor pricing to ensure cost controls.
- Conduct solicitations for certain goods, services, or manufacturing.
- Review questionable invoices with vendors.
- Maintain good vendor and departmental relations.
- Answer questions and handle routine requests related to purchasing.
- Ensure established policies and procedures are followed and are in compliance with established methodologies and quality standards.
- Prepare reports and complete documentation in relation to purchasing.
- Escalate situations requiring advanced expertise or knowledge of the broader business impact of decisions. Work with the mentor on more advanced situations.
- Assist with special projects.
- Provide administrative assistance to Accounting and Warehouse departments, as time allows.
- Work with the computer purchase order system for buying the process.
- Ensure records are accurate, produced on time, up to date, and in the required format.
- Maintain reference materials in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Perform clerical functions such as data entry, typing, filing, and other functions required to maintain accurate records.
- College diploma in supply services;
- Minimum of 5 years related experience;
- General knowledge of computerized purchase order systems and tracking with good data processing skills;
- General knowledge of materials management, logistics, transportation, and governmental regulations related to material shipments;
- General knowledge of mechanical and chemical principles and terminology;
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities;
- Excellent communication and strong computer skills;
- Strong English and Dutch language written and oral skills;
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Design and supervision of construction of geotechnical and hydrological structures such as foundations, slopes, excavations, diversion ditch, and dams;
- Investigation of ground instabilities and recommending and designing mitigation measures
To purchase materials, goods, and services for all operations, maintenance, and support functions.
To provide safe and cost-effective survey services, by way of design, plans, and measurement data that communicate critical mining instructions to operators and development results to engineers.
To provide administrative support and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the mill office and related activities.
The purpose of the Mine Road Supervisor is to ensure all site service roads are maintained year round.
The purpose of the Supervisor Mine is to supervise the mine crew and ensure production targets and schedules are met as forecast.
The Senior Mining Engineer takes part in the development of economic studies of mining projects (approach, prefeasibility, feasibility).
To ensure optimization of the Mill process is maintained through effective management and technical support to the Operations group as well as external support groups including Mine Technical Services and Mine Operations.
As a member of the Global Supply Chain (GSC), the analyst will utilize your abilities to provide actionable recommendations to the leaders of the organization.
This position is responsible to manage all maintenance activities including; safety, execution, personnel, budget, planning and continuous improvement.
