- This position will require you to be reachable by phone evenings & weekends
- Must be available to work assigned shifts that will, from time to time, include Saturdays and Sundays
- General mechanical aptitude
- Eager to learn, willing to work long hours, available for emergency breakdowns on-call service 24/7 when required
- Experience working in an industrial environment
- Experience working outdoors (cold, heat, noise) in a physically demanding role
- Skills such as rigging, cutting, welding, etc. an asset
- Preference may be given to candidates with millwright experience
- Forklift operation experience is an asset
- Valid Ontario Drivers License and clean abstract
- Ability to lift 60+ lbs. with the assistance of another person

The Fabrication/Warehouse Assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks within and possibly outside the warehouse.
The individual will be responsible for scheduling regular maintenance for various facility systems, overseeing the continues improvement of the maintenance process and executing long-term preventative maintenance plan.
The Order Desk plays a major role as a link between the customer and AFM Industries.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial minded Industrial Sales Specialist to promote our high value Endurance products (Heavy Duty Steelcord and Textile conveyor belting, corrugated sidewall, and other fabricated belts) to customers throughout Quebec and parts of Labrador (across eastern Canada – Quebec, New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador).
As our newest apprentice, you will work directly with our lead technicians at customer sites, learning the trade and the skills necessary for you to become a lead tech yourself.
As our branch Manager, you will lead other branch technicians to perform service works at customer sites, which includes but not limited to installation and vulcanization of conveyor belts, lagging of pulleys, installation of repair fasters and so on.
