- Previous Underground Supervisor experience
- Good communication skills; both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of all production equipment
- Willingness to conduct a pre-access testing as a condition of employment
- Ability to work as part of a team
The role of the underground mechanic is to provide preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and air operated equipment.
The Alimak Raise Leader is required to conduct underground raise excavations, construct mechanized raise set ups, scale loose rock, drill, load and blast rock.
