- Ensure that operational requirements are met by supervising, coordinating and scheduling tradespeople’s activities
- Ensures compliance with safety rules and regulations to minimize industrial injuries and meet regulatory requirements
- Provides leadership and guidance to subordinates
- Keeps current on information and technology affecting functional area to increase innovation, and ensure compliance
- Prepares and reviews technical reports and quotations as required
- Maintaining and building customer relationships with a focus on satisfying customer needs and requirements
- Journeyperson trade certification in a relevant field plus a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a qualified tradesperson
- Minimum 2 years’ experience at a supervisory level within a heavy equipment dealership environment is preferred
- Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct detailed phases of mechanical functions including the performance.
- Experience with Komatsu product lines and construction industry is preferred
