Primary support for the Area to ensure treatment chemicals and equipment are used effectively, economically and safely within the Area.
 
  • Helps and works with Key Account Managers / Sales Account Managers with the design and implementation of treatment programs;
  • Communicates with Key Account Managers / Sales Account Managers and Area Sales Manager;
  • Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine service visits, testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention;
  • Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements;
  • Participate in Safety Audits;
  • Actively Participate in safety meetings, trainings and reporting;
  • Ensure Customer has enough chemicals on site by conducting Chemical Inventory, checking chemical drawdowns, reporting chemical consumption and placing Chemical orders as necessary within required lead time;
  • Provide value added consultative program control advice to our customers;
  • Conduct the necessary site and LMS/ classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory accounts and new customer sites
  • Maintain and build business relationships;
  • Assists with growth opportunities within existing customers and prospect in the area;
  • Look for growth opportunities and work closely with Key Account Managers / Sales Account Managers and customers to understand business needs and recommend plans that will grow sales within assigned territory.
 
Qualifications
 
Required:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years experience in industrial water treatment or related fields
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous, independent learning
 
Desired:
 
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
  • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
  • Manufacturing, lab testing, maintenance and/or electrical experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel)
