Our Geomatics division is currently experiencing growth, opening up exciting opportunities for enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individuals to become part of our survey team.  We are currently seeking Survey Assistants based in our Regina Office.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
•Assist the Party Chief in any and all aspects of field work including: operations of survey equipment and vehicles
•Organize and maintain survey equipment and vehicles
•Work safely and abide by the WSP Safety Program
•Ability to function within a team environment essential
•Enjoy working outdoors and be able to work out of town in remote locations for extended periods of time
 
Qualifications
 
•Ideally a graduate of a recognized post-secondary program related to surveying and Geomatics and/or have experience in legal surveying in a variety of related disciplines (monitoring, cadastral surveys, topographic surveys and construction layouts)
•These positions are based out in the field and require candidates to be familiar with the operation of ATV's, snowmobiles and chainsaws
•Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract are required
•Completed training and hold valid tickets in First Aid, H2S and CSTS safety training, is an asset
•Satisfy pre-employment requirements to demonstrate fit for duty, including drug screening
•Willingness to work overtime when required
