SYSTEMS ANALYST (PROGRAMMER)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum three-year Computer Science diploma or degree
- Minimum five years recent experience developing complex solutions to business problems through the application of systems analysis/programming techniques
- Experience in design and implementation of Banner systems
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle database applications
- Ability to develop ad-hoc data extracts/reporting for internal and external users.
- Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis, design and specification, programming or selecting appropriate packages, documentation, conversion, staff training and post-implementation support
- Provide advanced support and training for major Canadore systems, Banner and other related systems
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions to problems and new requirements
- Support new initiatives by providing analysis, coordination and project managementLiaiso
- n with user departments to ensure effective utilization of systems
- Develop custom data extracts and reports to meet internal and regulatory requirements
