Position Description
 
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the BRP Operator is responsible for transporting raw materials and recyclable materials throughout the plant.
 
Key Accountabilities
 
  • Hours of work: Rotating 8 hour Shifts: Monday to Saturday
  • Transport raw materials, scrap and recyclable materials throughout plant manually or using forklift, overhead crane or other powered equipment
  • Sort and pick materials on a production conveyor
  • Clean work areas and equipment
  • May assist with minor repairs and maintenance
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as industrial power washers, vacuums, sweepers and floor cleaners
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
 
Experience, Qualifications & Education
 
  • Completion of secondary school
  • Experience in a related production line occupation or as a warehouse worker Forklift and/or Overhead crane experience an asset
  • OHSA Rights and Responsibilities, WHMIS training
  • Physical strength is required for manual material handling materials
  • Long standing, walking and some minimal climbing of ladders and stairs
  • Wearing and maintenance of required PPE including respirator mask

Emergency Response Team Leader

Reporting to the Supervisor of Emergency Services, the Emergency Response Operator will be responsible for responding to emergency service calls as they relate to hazardous material.

As a Chemical Technician, your primary role is to sort and repack chemical hazardous waste within the facility.

Industrial Cleaning Operator

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be primarily responsible for industrial cleaning at various industrial locations throughout New Scotia.

AZ Transport Driver/Operator

Responsibilities include: Packing/bulking, loading, securing and transporting various waste streams throughout Ontario. 

Customer Service Representative (Co-op)

Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the Customer Service Representative will be the initial point of contact for prospective and inactive customers to small automotive and manufacturing customers.
