- Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels;
- Conduct research and publishing activities;
- Active participation in the Kinistòtàdimin committee and the indigenization / decolonization process of the School of Social Work;
- Supervise Master’s and Ph.D. candidates;
- Participate in the University’s academic and administrative activities;
- Carry out other activities as specified in the collective agreement.
- In-depth knowledge of the history, realities and needs of communities, ancestral and contemporary values and knowledge of Indigenous people;
- Hold a Ph.D. in social sciences (candidates who are close to completing a Ph.D.could be considered);
- Candidates who hold a bachelor's, master's or doctorate in Social Work will be favored;
- Experience or research in social and community intervention, with Indigenous communities;
- Experience or demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research;
- Ability to teach in French and English upon hiring, preferable;
- Fluency in an Indigenous language considered an important asset.
- A curriculum vitae, a letter describing their teaching and research experience and interests, and a clear indication of their French and English language abilities.

- A letter of recommendation from a leader / representative of a community officially recognized as an Indigenous community, attesting to your commitment to Indigenous knowledge and episteme in your professional experiences is also required.
