We are an independent, family-owned, Canadian company in the uniform and mat rental business, serving a variety of industries in Ontario. Our Bradford depot serves our many customers located in the GTA.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
 
  • Your main objective will be to see that our trucks are loaded/unloaded per established procedures and are properly cleaned each day.  Driving of trucks will be required on site.
  • To accomplish this, you will load and unload slings, lift and stack dirty and clean mats, push carts, move bins, and complete other related freight & merchandise loading/unloading tasks. Organization, accuracy, and efficiency are of the utmost importance. 
  • You will ensure that your work environment is clean and organized at all times (garage and facility grounds).  You will often be responsible for shutting down and locking up at end of shift.
 
You are required to:
 
  • Read and write effectively in English
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers, management, vendors, etc.
  • Follow procedures as instructed
  • Be fit for work in a physical environment, both inside & outside in varying weather conditions
  • Lift 50-70 pounds
  • Have a clean class G driver’s abstract
  • Possess forklift operator certification or be willing to complete training
  • Adhere to established work schedule and have flexibility to work differing hours or overtime if needed
