Wallbridge Mining Company Limited is a Canadian Junior Explorer-Developer currently conducting advanced exploration at the Fenelon Gold project located in Northern Abitibi, Quebec, Canada. Wallbridge also controls a large prospective land package along the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone, otherwise known as, the Detour – Fenelon Gold Trend which stretches from Kirkland Lake Gold’s Detour Lake Mine in Ontario to Wallbridge’s Fenelon Gold property. Wallbridge is currently advancing the Fenelon Gold project towards a maiden resource and economic studies and continues to grow its team. The technician IT will report to the Project Manager, the schedule is 4/3.
 
Job Details
 
• Computer maintenance: proficient in troubleshooting and disassembling modern laptops or desktop computers to replace or upgrade components;
• Microsoft Windows: Proficient with the Windows 10 Pro operating system in a domain environment, be able to diagnose and repair software and OS configuration issues, understand and configure windows VPN tunnels;
• Windows Server: Know how to do basic Active Directory user and group functions: create users, reset passwords etc., knowledge of how Hyper-V servers operate;
• Office 365: Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel. Basic knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, knowledge of the Microsoft 365 backend admin panels (Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.);
• Working knowledge of the following networking skills: understanding of DHCP and IP address structures, cable basics – installing, running and terminating ethernet cable and jacks, basic understanding of Firewall appliances and how they control network traffic, troubleshooting client network and VPN connection issues, experience configuring Ubiquity networking equipment a plus;
• VOIP Phone systems: Be familiar with VOIP phone systems setup and configuration.
• Manual work required on occasion (wall mount, stations, cable management).
 
Qualifications
 
• College diploma (D.E.C.) in computer technology or equivalent;
• Work experience of 2 years or more ;
• Good knowledge of French an asset ;
• Analytical skills, sense of organization and planning ;
• Autonomy and good adaptability.
• Basic French for safety reasons
