Wurth Canada has a unique opportunity for you.We are looking for a business savvy, creativeand energetic Product Specialist in categories such as CHEMICALS, FASTENERS,ABRASIVES AND PERSONAL PROTECTION.
 
You will be responsible for:
 
  • Timely and accurate research and integration of new products into product range(s) for Sales Divisions based on Market and/or targets
  • Manage the entire product line life-cycle from planning to tactical activities including defining short-term and long-term sales forecasts and product road maps
  • Identify key competitor and consumer trends
  • Specify market requirements for current and future product additions by conducting market research supported by visits to customers and non-customers
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to drive top-line revenue growth by working with
  • suppliers and internal business partners
  • Carry out all pre-launch activities including: samples, product testing, legal requirements and sales/customer training etc.
  • Define, execute and/or monitor specific performance metrics and goals relevant to each supplier relationship
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth 
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products 
  • Act as point of first reference for all product related inquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in various departments to address any issues that may arise.
 
 
Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role or industry knowledge
  • College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
  • Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
  • Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity
  • Creativity and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Some travel may be required
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment
