We have found tremendous demand for our technology and are now looking for a Bilingual Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to continue to drive our growth and help water utilities care for their infrastructure and prevent the loss of non-revenue water.
 
The purpose of the Bilingual Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative role is to provide legendary customer service and conduct product sales for water authorities and industrial clients through phone-based prospecting and product promotion establish and maintain customer relationships. The purpose of the role is to create revenue for Echologics by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information and developing accounts. S/he will provide exceptional customer service, build and maintain quality customer relationships and will be the voice of the customer within the company. The Bilingual Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative will serve customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and warranty/service/shipping problems. S/he will screen and dispatch incoming Echologics sales calls to corresponding subject matter experts, follow up on leads, complete product invoices, and forecast monthly sales for products. At the end of the day, the Bilingual Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative will help us in our objective to establish Echologics as a leading provider of pipeline condition assessment and leak detection.

Responsibilities
 
Inside Sales:
• Understands Echologics’ value proposition and market information and trends to maximize inside sales; Demonstrates how Echologics solutions can help customers with effective and efficient leak detection and condition assessment of water infrastructure non-invasively and without disrupting water services.
• Develops sales opportunities for Echologics by researching and identifying potential accounts; cold-calling new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and key marketing message; preparing quotations.
• Develops accounts by tracking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; differentiating our offerings from the competition.
• Contacts customers to follow up on orders and make sure their needs have been met to foster future sales.
• Closes new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information into Salesforce.com.
• Closes calls by determining one of three actions: sales rep follow up, sending of information and following up or no action.
• Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment; communicating expected delivery date; outlining actions and timeline to address out-of-stock inventory.
• Ensures the contact information and outcome is entered into Salesforce under the appropriate sales rep territory.
Update monthly forecasts for product sales.
• Maintains and improves results by following, improving or developing inside sales standards; recommending improved policies and procedures for continuous improvement
• Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in training and educational opportunities. 
Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments by partnering with Marketing, Sales and Field Teams.
 
Customer Service Representative:
• Provides complete and satisfactory responses related to Echologics’ products and service offerings.
• Key stakeholder in resolving product or service problems by
• Clarifying the customer's complaint by understanding and gathering all the necessary data required to address and solve the problems.
• Liaising with sales reps, quality control and design departments to monitor and track the resolution
• Providing, as required, necessary feedback to the customers and sales reps.
• Expedites correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution with warranty and repair information. • Responsible for all returns, repairs and credit notes.
• Responsible for product invoices.
• Files orders and sales documents.
• Works in compliance with the Mueller Water Products Core Values and Code of Conduct and all environment, health and safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Maintains the case histories of all interaction with the customer in relation to servicing of products.
• Follows up with customers for their feedback on the products and services they currently use.
• Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
• Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
• Opens and maintain customer accounts by recording account information.
 
 
Required Experience
 
Required Education & Experience:
• Related College diploma or equivalent education/experience
• Minimum of 5 years of proven inside sales experience and customer service experience
• Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Competencies:
• Fluent in writing and speaking both French and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Experienced in using Salesforce and industry standard CRM systems related lead generation tools
• Self-motivated and highly driven to close sales; consistent track record of success in closing business, creating and managing a robust pipeline, proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota
• Knowledge of supply chain, sales techniques and customer service
• Ability to learn technical information quickly and communicate that to customers to address pain points
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to excel and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic, outgoing and pleasant professional demeanor that is evident to customers over the phone
• Positive, “can do” attitude with the willingness to learn
• Ability to travel to travel for training and conferences as needed
