- Improvements and maintenance of all housing and infrastructure and public works;

- Creation and implementation of housing programs and policies available to Wahgoshig.

- Elimination of overcrowding in homes to promote healthy safe environments for family growth.

- Policies have been developed for a Housing Authority which will include all work relevant to housing, such as Housing Policies, Individual Home Ownership Programs and their procedures. These documents are currently being finalized for review and ratification;
- The success and finalization of 4 RRAP Programs (2016/2017);
- The successful application and proposal through 3 streams of funding to INAC to subsidize the construction of a 6-plex Elders Complex in the amount of $1.2 million, Capacity Development to create and build a Housing Authority in the amount of $100,000.00 and lot servicing in the amount of $150,000.00;
- Currently working on 3 phase electrical expansion;
- Successful application to CWWF in the amount of $85,000.00 to create ditches and culverts through the community and to build-up driveways where necessary for proper drainage.

Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the primary role of the Truck Driver is to haul and dump broken ore and waste from development or production headings.
Under the supervision of the Superintendent, the primary role of the Shift Supervisor is to coordinate the daily activities of the mine development according to plan and is completed to standards.
Under the supervision of the Lead Miner and/or Shift Supervisor, the primary role of Miner is to inspect existing underground headings, scale loose rocks and install ground support to stabilize rock mass and ensure safety.
Under the supervision of the Lead Mechanic, the primary role of the Mechanic is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment.
Under the supervision of the Mechanical Supervisor and/or Underground Superintendent, the primary role of the Lead Mechanic is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment.
Under the supervision of Superintendent, the primary role of the lead electrician is to install, wire, maintain & perform preventive maintenance and repairs to electric equipment in surface and underground areas.
Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the primary role of a Jumbo Operator is to set up and operate a two-boom Sandvik jumbo to drill and blast in a safe manner.
Under the supervision of the Superintendent/ Shift Supervisor, the primary role of a Cage Tender is operate mineshaft conveyances which may include skips and/or cages and other devices that are used to move workers and material within the mine shaft safely.
