Omya To Acquire Specialty Personal Care Distributor Kinetik Technologies In The US

Omya, a leading global distributor and manufacturer of specialty ingredients, has reached an agreement to acquire Kinetik Technologies Inc., a specialty personal care distributor located in Hazlet, NJ, US. The transaction is subject to fulfilment of transaction related conditions and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2019.

 

The acquisition accomplishes another important milestone in Omya’s strategy to strengthen its position amongst the top ranked specialty distributors in the global consumer market as well as to emphasize its synergistic effects with Omya’s own portfolio of specialty minerals and cellulosic spheres.

 

Kinetik Technologies, led by a strong management team, has a well-known brand and a well-established reputation for innovative solutions in the specialty cosmetic market - focusing on sustainable, high quality, natural ingredients. By leveraging both Kinetik specialty and Omya global network, the combined businesses will be best positioned to serve the needs of both customers and principals nationwide.
