POTASHCORP Project
POTASHCORP ALLAN UNDERGROUND EXPANSION PROJECT: NEW HEADFRAME ROOF DRAIN AND RAIN LEADER – ALLAN, SK
TESC was contracted to supply and install one roof drain with rainwater leader. The project involved fitting 4” PVC piping and field running it to suit the site conditions. Rain Leader was routed from the center of the new headframe roof due West to the West wall of the stairwell, then dropped below the old headframe roof and tied into the existing rainwater leader in the old headframe. TESC was also contracted for the supply and installation of PVC SCH 40 pipe from the new 4” diameter roof drain and tie into the existing rain water leader underneath the existing hoist penthouse roof. Testing of pipe was completed as per code c/w documentation QA/QC package, along with all hangers and secondary steel requirements. Furthermore, TESC supplied and installed all scaffolding for the project. This project was completed safely in May 2011, with zero lost time injuries, on time and on budget.
