Alemite Offers New Def System

Nov 25, 2013
August 1, 2012 - Fort Mill, SC - Alemite has introduced its new Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Dispensing System for shops servicing heavy-duty diesel vehicles. Engineered for efficiency and reliability, Alemite's DEF system provides superior performance and long service life at an affordable price.

The system was developed to fit closed 55-, 275- and 330-gallon (200-, 1,040- and 1,250-liter) containers and features a self-priming, 1/3-horsepower pump with a fill rate of up to 7 gallons per minute. Its lightweight, ergonomic design includes a built-in handle that allows for easy drum/tote changes.

The DEF system pump was constructed to run cool and survive the occasional prolonged "stall" without catastrophic failure. In addition to the pump, the system comes with a durable, stainless steel nozzle, 20-foot, rubber-coated delivery hose, suction hose and a one-piece, stainless steel mounting plate with integrated nozzle holder.

Incorporated in 1918, Alemite's first patent marked the birth of high-pressure lubrication with its braided metal hose and special end connection for use with screw-type grease guns. Since that time, the company has achieved an international reputation as a leader in cost-effective lubrication and fluid handling systems. An ISO/TS-certified manufacturer, Alemite's headquarters are located at 1057 521 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 100, Fort Mill, S.C. 29707.
