Commissionaire Celebrates Milestone Birthday Helping Others
Long-time employee of Commissionaires Ottawa, 36-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, and BOOTS 4 PUPS founder Hilaire ‘Nick’ Nicholas is raising funds and awareness for Citadel Canine Society (CCS) as he hikes 350 km over 11 days along the historic Rideau Trail from Kingston to Ottawa. CCS is a registered Canadian charity that is dedicated to helping improve the lives of veterans and first responders who have been diagnosed with PTSD by screening and rescuing dogs from shelters and professionally training them to become PTSD service dogs—at no cost to the recipient.
