LITTLE GIANT LADDERS RECOGNIZED BY LIBERTY MUTUAL INSURANCE AND THE CPWR

Springville, Utah, June 25, 2020 –Little Giant Ladder Systems®, the leader in ladder safety and innovation, received a safety and innovation award from The Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR) and Liberty Mutual insurance for the King Kombo Industrial ladder, the most recent award for the top awarded ladder in the industry.

The King Kombo is helping tradespeople around the world, and it is receiving recognition for its versatility. In addition to this award from Liberty Mutual Insurance and the CPWR, the King Kombo has received a number of other awards, including the SAFE Award from the National Association of Home Builders and Builders Mutual Insurance, New Product of the Year from Occupational Health & Safety Magazine and the Pro Tool Innovation Award from Pro Tool Reviews. The awards for the King Kombo make this ladder the most awarded ladder on the market.

Little Giant and the CPWR plan to use the reward money to further research on ladder safety and to develop better ladder testing. The improved ladder testing will ultimately determine which ladder design features make a ladder safer than other ladders. The CPWR also plans to work with an engineering college to determine the test parameters. The test and results will then be submitted to NIOSH for further research.
