McDougall Energy Makes a Big Move to Better Serve Sudbury Area Customers
With nearly double the space and added convenience, McDougall Energy customers in the Sudbury area will benefit from the recent move of our Sudbury operations facility and office to its new location in Lively, Ontario. The Sudbury office proudly services McDougall Energy customers with Propane and Esso Home Heating Oil, as well as Commercial, Auto, and Wheel-to-Wheel customers with Esso Fuel and Mobil Lubricants. McDougall Transportation dispatch and scheduling also operates out of the Lively location.
"Our commitment is to make it easy for all of our customers to do business with us. This new facility enables us to provide optimal service for our customers in the Sudbury area, thanks to closer proximity to the Imperial Oil bulk fuels terminal and main highway routes. This will reduce time spent in traffic congestion and travelling to reach customers," said Mike Rosso, Vice President – Operations, McDougall Energy.
Benefits of the new location
- A larger facility that better meets the needs of our growing customer base in the area with 21,500 sq. ft. of warehouse space, 3,000 sq. ft. of office space and an additional 9,400 sq. ft. available for future business growth (compared to 15,000 sq. ft. at our old location)
- A larger warehouse and exterior yard that supports increased product offerings and inventory
- Well-positioned geographically to allow for more direct deliveries to customers in the region
- Improved fleet management and maintenance for McDougall Energy and McDougall Transportation trucks
- Elimination of the need for offsite storage
- Reduction in overall costs related to maintaining inventory across Northern Ontario (Sault Ste. Marie and Timmins)
- More office space for McDougall Energy and McDougall Transportation staff
- Less congestion and space restrictions for staff, operations, and storage
