Northstar Gold Corp advances exploration at Miller Property

Northstar Gold Corp. has started borehole electromagnetic (BHEM) and surface electromagnetic (EM) surveys at the Cam Copper Mine area on its Miller Copper-Gold Property, located near Kirkland Lake. Recent drilling confirmed the VMS nature of high-grade copper mineralization at the site, with significant copper grades observed. The surveys, conducted by Crone Geophysics and Exploration Ltd., aim to identify extensions and conductors of the VMS horizon, potentially revealing areas with thick accumulations of copper-rich massive sulphides. To support drill target definition, historic geophysical data will be compiled and modeled, including VLEM conductors and IP anomalies, alongside 3D plate modeling of airborne EM conductors and magnetic data inversions. Additionally, a limited prospecting and sampling program has identified possible extensions of VMS zones, with further exploration planned for spring 2024.
