Selecting the right lubricant for the conditions in your mine
Pneuma-Tool's Polar formulations have important advantages over conventional rock drill lubricants:
• The negatively charged Pneuma-Tool molecules are strongly attracted to the positively charged steel surfaces of the tool. This attraction ensures that all surfaces of the drill are evenly coated, ensuring proper lubrication.
• The film strength of Pneuma-Tool's polar formulations is much more durable than a conventional rock drill lubricant, providing superior wear resistance.
• Pneuma-Tool's polar attraction to metal greatly resists washout by water in the compressed air.
• Additionally, the tenacious Pneuma-Tool lubricating film will not allow ice to adhere to it, and any ice formed is blown out of the tool. This eliminates the annoying and costly freezing of the muffler experienced with conventional rock drill lubricants.
