Gino Chitaroni, President


 
Mr. Chitaroni is a lifelong resident of the Town of Cobalt, Ontario. He is a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines, Northern College with a diploma as a Mining Technologist in 1985; and then later completed his Bachelor Science degree in Geology at Lake Superior State University in 1988. Mr. Chitaroni has extensive experience in the mining sector and as prospector since 1982. He has also worked as a miner with Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. in mid to late 1980's with a short stint as a student geological technician with Teck-Corona Corporation in Hemlo. In the early to late 1990's, he worked as a project geologist for EGO Resources Ltd-Cobatec Inc. before forming Blackstone Development Inc. to handle the management of various exploration projects and economic development projects in the Temagami, Matachewan and Cobalt areas. In 2000, Mr. Chitaroni formed Polymet Labs and is president of the company to present day. In 2006, he and partners formed Legends of Cobalt Corporation in order to re-energize the Cobalt Mining Camp; and then again later in 2011, he and another set of partners created Canagco Mining Corp, acting as President, is active to present day in Cobalt. Moreover, Mr. Chitaroni served as a long time town Councilor and has recently retired from politics in the Town of Cobalt.  His family proudly owns and operates Portage Bay Lodge Tourist Camp.

 
Martin Ethier, Vice-President
 
 
Martin Ethier graduated from Mount Allison University in Sackville New Brunswick (1997), majoring in Geography, and minors in Geology as well as Environmental Studies.  In addition, he completed an intensive Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems from the Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS) in Lawrencetown (1998), Nova Scotia.  He obtained a Master’s of Science Degree in Geology from Acadia University in Wolfville (2001), Nova Scotia.  Mr. Ethier has worked since 2001 as a geologist/remote sensing/GIS specialist in the mining industry on a variety of exploration projects such as diamond-bearing kimberlites, silver-cobalt deposits, gold, Ni-Cu-PGE and in the industrial mineral industry including sand/gravel deposits and rock quarries.

 
David Pinkney, Secretary-Treasurer
 
 
David Pinkney was educated at Temiskaming District Secondary School and Canadore College in the Accounting and Business fields.  Mr. Pinkney has held varies positions in the Accounting and Management fields including Brayford Chartered Accountants, Leisure Inn Motel, and Polymet Labs.

 
David Laronde, Director
 
 
David hails from Temagami and has been active in the mineral exploration industry for 35 years.  Upon graduation from Geology Engineering Technology at Cambrian College in Sudbury in 1979 he began working for major mining companies travelling extensively across Canada surveying and prospecting.  In 1985 he settled in Northern Ontario and started his own business Meegwich Consultants Inc. that serves the industry up to the present time. The company’s primary focus is geophysical surveying but engages in most aspects of preliminary exploration work including property acquisition, grid work, geo-scientific compilation and project management.

Brian Youngs, Advisor



Brian Youngs is a graduate of Northern College Haileybury School of Mines, Mining Engineering Technician program and is a member of Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). He has worked in the mineral exploration industry for over 20 years. Mr. Youngs has worked with several public junior mining companies including Randsburg International Gold Corp., Wabana Exploration Inc. and Meegwich Consultants. He is working throughout Canada and internationally, as senior airborne geophysics technician with Geotech Ltd., for over 6 years.
 
 
Joerg Kleinboeck, Advisor


 
Joerg Kleinboeck is a professional geologist with over 15 years of mineral exploration experience.  Mr. Kleinboeck holds a BSc (Geology) from Laurentian University and is a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.  Mr. Kleinboeck has held senior positions for several public junior mining companies including Fletcher Nickel Inc., GoldTrain Resources Inc., and Mineral Mountain Resources Ltd.  He has been involved in grass roots exploration through to advanced projects throughout North America.
